For Gage's Birthday I asked him if he'd rather have a party or a night at a cabin? He chose the Cabin and we were all pretty dang excited about it. We found this perfect place that fit us all, nestled away in the mountains of Midway. It was older but it was perfect. We left up on Saturday and met the family there. We had a taco dinner that was so delicious and enjoyed his Ninja Turtle Cake. We played in the hot tub, had a fire, and enjoyed having us all together! We woke up and had breakfast and headed off to Soldier Hollow. This Winter has been dry so we were lucky to get some man made snow. It was the perfect day to go and we had perfect warmer weather. Gage was so excited for everything he truly had the best birthday. He loved the sledding and preferred going down by himself. Nash wasn't old enough to go but he didn't love the sleds anyway. He did really well just hanging out at the bottom. I was surprised on how bad I was a scarty pants. I'm usually not scared of anything and will do it all. Well I was not a fan of it, which was weird cause my mom loved it. I preferred hanging out at the bottom with the babies. :) I guess I'm getting old.
That night we had a Party with Tyler's Family and he got even more spoiled. We're so lucky to have such amazing people in our lives.
On his birthday he got to go to school and be star student, he was so excited for that! Then he wanted to go bowling that night. We had a lot of fun just the 4 of us and Nash was quite the bowler as well. He even tried running down the lane a few times, oh toddlers!!
Next year his birthday will be way more low key, but this boy sure does deserve all the love!
