My baby is 6!

I think I will call Gage my baby forever, I still look at him like my little baby. Sadly he's growing up so fast and becoming quite the amazing little dude. Gage has such a love for life and he loves doing new things. He's always wanting to be out and exploring and if he's home one day without an activity he's not happy. He loves playing sports and he's really good at them. He has done so well in school, we're so proud. His teacher has him on a 1st grade reading level and he' s been doing 1st grade work for quite some time. His last report card was as good as it gets, and his teacher mentioned she's never given such high remarks. Gage loves organized events and he does really well with structure. When he gets bored is when he gets whiney. I think the best feature Gage has is his brotherly love. Ever since Nash was born Gage has really done well with looking out for his brother. He never hesitates to share with Nash, he's always looking out for him. They're best friends and I will always be thankful for the love they share. Gage has always been shy and quiet but this year we've seen big improvements on this. He's getting better with talking to people and opening up more. He's a great eater and loves just about anything. He's favorites include pizza, mac and cheese, mcdonalds, and corn dogs. He will eat pretty much anything we give him including salad, chinese food, meatloaf, roasts, we got lucky with his eating. He's very independent and gives himself his own baths (with my supervision) he gets ready for school all by himself, he does really well doing his homework, he is really good about doing his chores. He loves playing outside with his neighbor friends and thats what he wants to do constantly. He's 47 inches, and about 48 pounds, right about average. His favorite color is red, favorite sport this year is basketball. He loves Ninja Turtles! When we talk to him it feels  like we're talking to a 10 year old. He's lost 2 teeth, one he pulled out one the dentist did. He really dislikes shopping but he is really helpful when we go. He's very competitive with everything and although it can be a nice trait we're working on his ability to lose too. He had a pretty rough few months with night terrors but thankfully we got those under control for the most part. He will still have 1-2 a month but it used to be 1-2 a night!
When it comes to great kids we got extremely lucky with Gage. He's amazing all around and we thank our lucky stars for him all the time!
