Day 3 & 4

 

Day 3 was filled with lots of relaxation. We woke up around 10, did the breakfast buffet, and spent all day on the beach. Our main goal of this trip was to relax and spend as much time on the beautiful beach as possible. We for sure achieved that goal, and I never got sick of the water or sand.

Our friends let us use their underwater case for our camera, it was pretty cool. We didn't use it as much as we should have but it was fun.

 

All the restaurants are right off the beach with a perfect ocean view. I loved eating while listening to the ocean.This restaurant was our favorite spot to grab a burger for lunch or great Mexican food for dinner.

That night we got done up and headed out to a super fancy dinner. Probably a little too fancy for our taste but we had fun trying new stuff.

I think we crashed that night around 10pm. We knew we had a super long day ahead of us.  Day 4 was amazing, it was everything you dream of when you think of paradise. We boarded a big boat filled with people and breakfast early Thursday morning.

We arrived at Isla Mujeres( and island 30 min away from Cancun) and started with our swimming with the dolphins! Tyler and I have swam with the dolphins before but it was only touching/swimming with them. This time we did the entire shabang. We got pulled across the ocean while holding onto their fins. We were lifted into the air while they pushed us up with their feet. We got kissed, pulled, pushed, flew, you name it they did it. It was such an amazing experience and one I'll never forget! I think all 4 of us had perma smile the rest of the day.

We then headed off to a resort on the Island called Garrafon. It was beautiful and we spent the day there sleeping in hammocks, eating till we couldn't, and snorkeling in a reef.

We then boarded the boat around 6 and headed back to Cancun. We arrived back around 7, decided to not get ready that night and went to dinner in our swimsuits.

We laughed that night more than ever and really enjoyed our great friends!
