For Christmas Shirley & Brandon got us a couples massage and a gift card to the Little America hotel downtown. We were finally able to put those to use this past weekend and it was perfect! Lets just start off by saying how important I believe date night is. Family is nothing without a strong healthy marriage and time with each other is huge in that. Tyler and I have the most amazing time together, we just click and he always makes me laugh. We are so extremely lucky to have all the help we get with Gage. With my parents, Tyler's parents, my sisters, our grandparents, we have more than enough help. I love the fact that we know Gage is having the time of his life and he's probably not even thinking about us. When he goes to these houses he gets extremely spoiled, and I know he comes home wanting to go back. ;) So thank you to our amazing families for loving little man and making it easy for us to keep our marriage stronger than ever!
We started with the couples massage and it was just what I needed. They had a 3 hour option and I was drooling at the thought of that! We then headed off to check into our hotel, which was really nice. We walked everywhere that night which was a lot of fun. Downtown was packed because of the new city creek center, we felt like we were in Vegas! We went to PF changs, had to wait awhile because we forgot to make reservations. We sat and reminisced about high school days, our first dates, first dances, it's crazy how much history we have. We had the best dinner, oh I love my changs!
We then walked over to CityCreek, which was pretty cool. I think I loved the atmosphere of people more than anything. It was so cool seeing everyone out and enjoying main street. I wish downtown was like that all the time!

We went back to our hotel and spent some time in their lounge, talking away. We woke up and had a Delicious breakfast buffet and headed to pick up little man. Thanks again Shirley & Brandon, we love you guys!!
When we got home we spent some time outside, Gage drew this for us! He's so smart it's crazy!
