That night we colored eggs, and Gage loved it. After about 15 min though he was done, which I don't blame him. He loved writing his name on the eggs and launching them into the color.

Tyler had to work Saturday & Sunday so we were kinda bummed out. We've been super lucky with holidays and his work schedule so I can't complain. I think the first time he has to work Christmas I will cry for a week straight. We spent the night before Easter at my parents house, and I got to cuddle/sleep with Gage. He woke up at 8 (way unheard of for him) and was ready to search.

He was all about eggs, didn't want nothing to do with his basket or clothes. He even found his basket in the pantry and shut the door on it. I guess all that Easter egg hunt practice paid off. After we were done we had to go through each egg and see what was inside.

For some reason I was extremely tired on Easter. Gage played like a maniac with my parents, and I was conked out on the couch. I ended up falling asleep twice Easter Day out like a light on the couch. Someone must of drugged me. ;) We got all done up and headed to Tylers work to pay a visit.
Gage loves seeing the firetrucks and his dad but is super shy around the other firefighters. He is super shy around any new people actually. Anyone have any good tips for helping with this? He hides behind me and wont even look at them. Something I really want to work on!

We headed back to my parents house to have Easter dinner and another Egg Hunt. Again Gage was all about the eggs and loved that there was dollar bills inside. He passed up his baskets twice.

We had the best dinner and spent some much needed family time. We spent a lot of time outside, made me so excited for warmer weather.

Have I mentioned lately how much I love my cute parents? Well I could never express how much they do for us and I'll be forever thankful. I want to parent just like they do, their example is amazing!

I don't think I've ever posted about our Kodiak. Kodiak has been in our family forever and I have so much love for this boy. He's been having some health problems lately but he seems to be kicking them away.

It was a great weekend even though I missed Tyler a lot! I hope everyone else had a great Easter!
