Silver Lake

Wednesday night we decided to go up to Silver Lake after work. It was such a nice drive up the canyon and my amazing eyes spotted this....
He was huge! Tyler flipped the car around and we got to watch it for a few. It kinda made me sad because I started thinking about hunters and it being dead. Tyler kept saying, " Yeah his rack will be on someones wall soon." If you know me you know I don't like hunting and I get all emotional just thinking about it. I have faith in this one though, he will get away! Anyways it was really nice to see. Gage slept on the way up there and woke up happy as can be. It was such a perfect night. This was Gage watching some "not so scared of us" ducks.
So here's the funny story. We were enjoying the mountain air when we decided to self time a picture of us together. Right after we took the picture a lady came running out from the trees. She had a huge beautiful camera, she told us that she loves taking pictures and that's what she retired to do. She offered to take a few pictures with our camera, and a "few" with hers. I say few cause she took about 30. She was so nice, and Gage just loved her. He smiled a lot and giggled. So our 3 min photo turned into a 30 min photo shoot that wasn't planned, haha. I'm thankful she came around though I really like how it turned out.
Hopefully we have a few more trips like this before it gets too cold.
