35th week doctor apt

Tyler unfortunately couldn't make it to this one and It ended up being a pretty exciting one to miss. My mom came along with me and It was nice to have her there. I have gained 35 pounds which is a lot but I can deal and have come to appreciate it :) haha. My blood pressure was a little high so they want me to keep an eye on it. I did the group b test and will find out the results on Monday for that. I had my first internal, which I wasn't expecting at all! Turns out I'm 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. She said she could feel his head so hes in position. She said a lot of women walk around at 1cm for weeks but that was good progress. I couldn't believe I was already making progress, it was kinda a reality check that this is really happening. She mentioned that I might want to pack our hospital bags this weekend, so I'm getting right on that. haha!! My next appointment is on Feb 11th. We even got a ultrasound which my mom really enjoyed, Gage was very quick to give us a money shot right away, hes always been very proud of his package. :) I'm getting so excited, its all I think about and talk about and care about I swear! I completely understand the mothers instincts now because my life doesn't really matter anymore, its all about him and making him happy, and hes not even here yet! On the way home from the appointment I was on the phone with Tyler and I got pulled over for speeding. 11 over, He took forever with my license so I thought for sure he was giving me a ticket which completely ruined my mood but he ended up giving me a warning. I think it was either because of our firefighter plates or my big belly, either way thanks officer!

**Also Cross your fingers for Tyler, he has a chiefs interview on Feb 9th for south salt lake. Its the final stage before hire and it takes a lot to get one of these interviews. We have been through a lot lately with getting hired on full time and I just want it to happen for Tyler, he deserves it. I'll keep you posted!
