I'm not gonna lie, I'm feeling huge! My ankles, my belly, my legs, my boobs, my face, everything seems to be growing! I'm thankful that I'm just starting to feel this way at 36 weeks, thankful I don't have much longer to go. I gained another 5lbs since my appointment 2 weeks ago. That's 10lbs in 4 weeks, more than I gained in the first couple of months. Yikes! Thankfully my doctor isn't concerned, just seeing that high number on the scale makes me wanna hurl. I know, I know I'm pregnant, trust me I'm trying to embrace it. Besides feeling huge, and some Braxton Hicks last week all has been well. I'm still doing daycare and having no problems. My last photography session is tonight and it's probably a good thing I'm stopping now. I'm feeling good for the most part, as good as a 9 month pregnant lady can feel!
We had our 36 week appointment today. We at the last minute decided to take Gage along, even with all the signs saying leave your kids at home. ;) He wasn't too interested though, and thankfully the appointment went fast. He's so ready for his brother to be here, I'm pretty sure he's sick of us talking about it. He doesn't understand why it takes so long. My blood pressure was good this week. At 36 weeks with Gage is when it started creeping up, so lets hope we don't have that again. We did the strep test, and should know the results next week. We did our first internal exam and I'm as she put it "a fingertip dilated and 50% effaced and soft." So not much but that's alright for us! He's head down which is still great! With Gage at 36 weeks we got an ultrasound so we were kinda expecting one today. We didn't get one so that was kinda a bummer, I guess we can wait a few more weeks to see the real thing. It would've been nice to know a size estimate. With all this weight gain this little chunk better be growing! Next appointment is next week!
How far along? 36 weeks!
Baby's size? A honeydew, around 5.5lbs this week.
Total weight gain: 35lbs.
Maternity clothes? Yes, starting to only wear sweats during daycare.
Sleep: Still really good. I fall asleep really fast and only have to get up once a night. I've been super sleepy this week too.
Best moment(s) this past week: Memorial Weekend was great. We went swimming which felt amazing. We went camping and that was interesting. It was hot and I couldn't do much but it was still nice to get away. Gage had tons of fun so that was good.

Labor Signs: I've been having a few Braxton hicks contractions, nothing bad and mostly at night.
Gender: Boy!
Belly Button in or out? Flat.

Looking forward to: Park City this weekend, and his arrival of course!

your baby at 36 weeks
- She's getting closer and closer to being able to breathe on her own.
- Her skin is getting smooth and soft and her gums are rigid.
- Her liver and kidneys are in working order.
- Circulation and immune systems are basically good to go, too.
