It seems like these posts keep coming sooner and sooner. This pregnancy has really went by fast and I'm thankful but sad about that. I'm not gonna lie I've read some not so fun stories about newborns lately, and that has me nervous. I'm really trying to change my mind set this time around and hopefully that will help. With Gage I was so worried about what others were doing. I was worried I was a failure when I stopped breastfeeding. I was worried that every cry was something terrible. I was worried about keeping a clean house and keeping Gage looking cute 24/7. I was just plain worried! This time around I'm hoping to knock that attitude out of the door! I think me thinking that way caused my baby blues and made having a newborn pure craziness! This time around I'm not gonna care so much! I'm going to focus on sleep, family time, and doing what feels best for us! If that means we don't breastfeed very long then so be it. If that means baby boy is in a onesie all day, so be it. If that means my house looks like a tornado, so be it! Everyone tells me having your second is so different because you know what to expect, I sure hope so!
This week has been really good! I need to start working out a little more, but besides that I'm happy and healthy!

We still have some decorating to do with the walls but I'm in love with it! I can't decide on a valiance though, should I go with a pattern or solid color?
We also bought his carseat cover, something we never had with Gage. I love it!
your baby at 26 weeks
- Her eyes are forming, and his eyes will soon start to open.
- And her eyelashes are now grown, too.
- She's getting her immune system ready for life on the outside by soaking up your antibodies.
- She's taking breaths, too. They're of amniotic fluid, not air, but it's still good practice.
