Vegas 2010

Vegas was a lot of fun but I'm sure glad to be home. I think doing Vegas once a year for the past 5 years is too much Vegas. I think were gonna limit our Vegas trips to once every 5 years. It was so nice being with the whole fam damily though, what an amazing fam I have. We went down for Vanessa and Bradon's 21st and they had a blast! It was fun watching them have so much fun and it brought back memories of my 21st in Vegas. If it were up to me I'd much rather gamble and play in Wendover, but I'm ghetto like that!

We surprisingly flew down Friday night after a quick trip change. We stayed in a room with these two crazies, okay okay were the crazies!

Started off the trip right with some very yummy drinks!

We met up with Carlos, Alisha and Bri, they were on their way to California and stopped in Vegas for the night. Friday night was a blast and I'm so glad we were all there together! I love them!
Saturday morning we needed to kill some time before the rest of the gang came so we walked and walked. We checked out the new casino/city center. It was pretty crazy but they need to invest in some esculators for us lazy people!
Saturday evening everyone came and we were ready for some burrito fun! We hit up Diablos Cantina and had some huge nachos that pretty sure made me gain my weight back. After some way too expensive drinks and some I should have been a cowboy we were off.


We walked to the Billagio gardens which I have never seen before. We watched the fountain show, people watched, and ended up back at Excalibur for some gambling. That night I was completely exhausted so during a late hotel room check back I completely passed out tired. I think mommyhood has made me a walking zombie!

Sunday we woke up to gamble and lose at Mandalay Bay. I swear gambling sucks, sucks, sucks!
That night for lunch/dinner we went to a place called "dicks." They warn you at the door that they are rude and don't care if they hurt your feelings. we were a little nervous but decided to go. It was a lot of fun and our waiter was crazy but hilarious. I don't think I've ever been to a restuarant where they throw your cup and you and tell you they don't care what you think. It was funny, so glad we went. These are the hats they made us wear, Rated R for sure.
That night Vanessa and Bradon headed back home and Mom and Dad just wanted to gamble. So what do we decide to do? Walk around the strip in the rain of course! It was actually a lot of fun and even though we were wet and our shoes were squishy we had some good laughs.
Monday we spent actually winning money, GASP! I bought my first Harley Vegas tee and tried to kill some time.

I think the best part of my trip was coming home to this handsome guy. He had a lot of fun with Grandma and Grandpa but I missed him so much. I think our trips without him will be less and less, we just miss him too much. He is such a funny guy, we love him so!
