This past weekend was a busy one, but a very fun one for sure! First off we discovered Gage's new love for patio furniture and being outside at night.
He also has a new love affair with his tongue! He's too funny!--------------------------
Friday night we had the chance to have a much needed night out with friends. Grandma Julie and Grandpa Kurt took Gage for the night. Thank you so much guys, we know he had too much fun. We went to the Porcupine bar and grill up the canyon. Which I just kinda picked out because it was close to the canyon, well turns out its a very busy place. We had to wait for an hour but thankfully the food was delicious and worth the wait. After dinner we headed up the canyon for a fire pit and smores. Yum! We hung out there for awhile till we were kicked out by the rangers because the picnic area had been closed for an hour or so. Oops, thankfully they were nice, but we were not ready to go. It was so nice hanging with friends and getting out into the mountains again, even if I was Mrs. scary pants. We also got to take the Harley that night, I'm sure starting to love that thing! :)

Saturday night I went to Brad Paisley with the girls. Brad is such an amazing performer and probably my all time favorite. He puts on a great concert and luckily Dierks Bently opened up for him, and he's amazing as well. The only downfall was there was 10 million people there and most of them were on the lawn. You could barely move and that was no bueno!
Self portraits were not happening that night, haha still love this one though.

Sunday we headed up to Silver Lake again to hike up to Twin lakes above it. We expected a quite easy hike but were a little surprised on how steep it actually was. Thankfully we all made it and Gage was an angel the entire time. It started to get really cold though so we had to leave a little earlier then hoped. What a beautiful hike this was and it was so nice doing it with family!
Wow, what a weekend, and to top it off I believe my 49ers are winning right at this moment!! Woohoo 2-0 baby, hope everyone had a great one as well.

Busy busy fun fun weekend! Go 49ers! Promised Grandma if they go to the superbowl I am taking her.. starting to get worried hee hee hee!
