27th week apt

Wow, time is flying by and I cant believe I'm already in my 3rd Trimester! It really seems like yesterday we found out I was pregnant. Today we had another doctor appointment but this one was a little more important then others. I had to drink the Glucose drink an hour before my appointment, which I thought was very good! When we got there they took my blood and we will find out Wednesday if I passed for Gestational Diabetes. Lately I have been so worried about this, I'm freaking out waiting to find out that I'm alright. I guess If I do have it I will live and should be thankful that its something that can be managed. Then we went downstairs to have another ultrasound. They scheduled another one to check up on the kidneys and the Placenta Previa. It was so great getting to see him again and man has he grown! He is 2 1/2 pounds and in the 86 percentile right now. He seemed so squashed and uncomfortable in there I felt bad for him. He has a big head like his mommy and a chin just like daddy's, dads already convinced he is going to have all the ladies all over him. His words were, " Hes going to look just like me, which means we wont be able to keep the girls off him." I think we have a few years before we have to worry about that! The Kidneys were great this time, normal size. The Placenta Previa was gone and the Placenta has moved away from the cervix. I still have a low lying Placenta but this is common and our doctor said shes pretty sure it will move up in the next weeks. Very Very good news! I have gained 23 pounds so far, which I'm okay with and our doctor didn't give me the weight talk so thats a plus. His due date is still set for March 2nd, but Tyler and Shirley are convinced it will be Feb 28th! We got a few pictures but not on a disk. For Christmas were going to get the 3d/4d pictures so that will be really exciting to see how those turn out!

The anticipation is killing me, I cant wait to hold him and see him! Whats crazy is that I still have 3 months left! He is already loved so much!
