13 weeks 2nd Trimester

I'm pretty excited to be out of the 1st trimester and into the fun 2nd. Even though 1st treated me dang good 2nd is my favorite. I love how the bump starts to show, I love how my face clears up, I love feeling the munchkin kick, I love finding out the sex, I love having more energy, and I love all the ultrasounds! Things have been going pretty good around here. I've been running around with my head cut off trying to finish Christmas. With the holidays it's made things zoom by, I'm super thankful for that. I think once January hits life will start to slow down, which is totally ok with me!

How far along? 13 weeks!

Baby's size? a peach!

Total weight gain: Up 2 lbs, which I'm completely ok with! 

Maternity clothes? Pants on and off, no shirts. 

Sleep: Still super good! I noticed last night that Snoop sleeps right up against my belly, how cute is that! 

Best moment(s) this past week: Our appointment on Monday! We had to wait a while but hearing the heartbeat was so amazing. It was 156, about the same as Gage's was around this time. Everything looked and sounded great, next appointment we will find out the sex! 

Miss Anything? Nope

Movement: Not yet! 

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope

Cravings: Still the same! 

Labor Signs: Nope

Gender: All 3 of us think boy, and after our appointment Monday I feel it even more. 

Symptoms: This past week has been different for me. I woke up a few mornings and got sick. Afterwards I was fine but it was weird to finally experience some morning sickness.

Wedding rings on or off? on
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, excited, emotional. This past week with the sandy shootings has been rough on my emotions. 

Looking forward to: Christmas, Time off, Time with family!

• Can you believe she's forming vocal cords and teeth?!
• And even though she's still teeny, she already has fingerprints.
• Her intestines are moving from the umbilical cord to their more permanent place, in her tummy.
