Christmas Day

Christmas was a little bit different this year. We usually all spend the night at my moms and then wake up all together to do presents. This year we all stayed at our own houses which was different but nice as well. Tyler and I enjoyed a great Christmas Eve with all our grandparents and the "evil" Panda Express (I'll get to that later) When we left our house around 8:00 a.m. to Tyler's mom the snow wasn't terrible but it was coming down. Once we got to her house it was a joke! The snow drifts were everywhere and you couldn't see two feet in front of you. We had a wonderful breakfast that I couldn't eat much of because I was sick (boo). Tyler's grandparents made the hectic trip up also, it was nice seeing them again.

It was a complete white out when it came time for us to leave. Tyler's grandparents left and 5 minutes after they called informing us they were stuck. So Handy Dandy Kurt, Tyler, and Zach went out to bail them out along with half the neighborhood, It was really that bad. An hour later we were able to leave and make it to my sisters safely.

Kimberlee was the star of the show here, and she was so cute with all her presents. Her favorite was probably the little broom and dust pan, it was so cute watching her sweep up everything. Tyler and I got her a cabbage patch doll, a stroller, and an outfit. I think she loved them all :)

Gage got extra spoiled this Christmas! He has double the clothes now and even a remote control helicopter, thanks to my dad! I think were all ready for him :) A little back story, this month Tyler and I had planned on paying the 150 Dollars for a 3/d ultrasound. We eventually decided to use the money for Christmas and that we didn't really need one done. Inside I was kinda bummed because I have been wanting one for awhile. Tyler surprised me along with my other gifts with a certificate for one! We already have the appointment set for today and hopefully hes in the right position to get some good shots. I cried when I opened this present, hes such a good husband!

Snoop was exhausted, he was sleeping throughout most of the unwrapping!

Afterwards we went to my moms for lunch and that's when it took a turn for the worst (well kinda). I ate some dip and a ham sandwich and immediately felt nauseous. After throwing up I just felt terrible. We headed over to Tyler's Dads for Christmas over there and I knew things were looking bad. I once again prayed to the porcelain gods over there and very sadly had to refuse the most amazing looking Dinner on Christmas! There is nothing worse then being sick on a holiday where food is everywhere, and such yummy food! We made it home and I continued to pray to the porcelain gods. Dang Panda Express!! I blame you!
Christmas was crazy and exciting and completely different, we at one point even loss power for a good hour. Its one we will remember for awhile. We are very blessed to have everything we have, and to have the people in our lives that we do! Thanks to everyone for a great Christmas!
