Well we made it, full term is this week and feeling great! I can honestly say this pregnancy has went by fast. As we were sitting in the waiting room this morning I was thinking about our first appointment and our excitement! Now we're almost done and it makes me kinda sad. I think I've done a great job at enjoying as much as possible this pregnancy. Little man could come any day now so I'm going to take each day as it comes!
Our 37 week appointment was today and I love going every week! Blood Pressure is still great, thank goodness! I actually lost a pound, don't worry I made up for it after the appointment. haha!
Our doctor has been out of town this week so we saw her nurse who is great. Heartbeat was great, and I'm measuring right on track. She checked me again and I'm now 1cm and 50% effaced, so no real change. She couldn't feel his head though so lets hope he's still head down. She said they don't really start to worry about that till week 38. I'm getting most of my kicks though in my ribs so he should still be head down. Other news is I tested positive for the Group B Strep Test. Which means I will have to have antibiotics during labor. That way nothing gets to baby boy. It means nothing for an adult to have it but it could make him pretty sick. Glad they caught it and glad to have that complication other than others.
Also on my mind is an eviction date. I would love to go on my own this time, with Gage I got induced at 39 weeks due to high blood pressure and leaking fluid. I would go to 41 weeks if needed. Unfortunately our insurance starts all over July 1st, our due date is June 26th. So this puts a kink in my plans, if we were to wait we would have to meet our deductible again. I've been thinking of a possible induction date if needed and it's looking like our due date June 26th will be the best bet. It's kinda a bummer but hopefully I go beforehand so it won't be an issue.
That's about all the news this week, things are getting interesting and moving so fast!
