30 weeks!

Another week come and gone and I can't believe we're in the 30's! I'm for sure feeling pregnant but I'm feeling super thankful for everything this week. Thankful for this chance to carry a baby and to be a mom. Thankful for a healthy uneventful pregnancy that has let me continue working and kept me busy! Thankful for an amazing husband and son who have been life savers lately. Gage has been so good and Tyler and has been so helpful and he mentions daily how he appreciates me. Thankful for my family who makes me feel loved and cared for. I've for sure felt the love this week and I needed it. Pregnancy can be oh so beautiful and it can be rough. It's not always glamorous but I choose to enjoy it and I choose to take in every moment. 10 more weeks will fly by, it kinda makes me sad at this point!
This is the best picture you will be getting this week. Getting Tyler to take a picture, or self timing one hasn't been top priority. Hopefully by next week we will have our maternity pictures back, I'm excited for those!
How far along: 30 weeks
How big is baby: about 3lbs!
Weight gain/loss: 23lbs, and feeling it!
Stretch marks: No thank goodness! I didn't have any with Gage till I got home from the hospital. Even then they were tiny and faded fast. Thank you mom for that!
Sleep: Oh so good! Gage slept till 8 this morning, and my early daycare kid has started coming late now. When I woke up at 8 this morning I about died!

Diet/Cravings/Aversions: Nothing really this week. Still loving the junk, but I have been craving carrots and ranch this week.

Movement: He's so quiet during the day, but kicks and jabs the most at night.

What I'm loving: My growing hair, minus the roots & his kicks!

Symptoms: Nothing really this week! Heartburn has been good, and all else is well too!

What I'm looking forward to: More doctors appointments, date night with Tyler saturday for his firefighter banquet.

Best moment of the week: Gage's T-ball Games, he seriously have some skill!

How I'm feeling:  Happy, thankful, emotional, loved, and HAPPY!
your baby at 30 weeks
  • His skin is getting smoother.
  • But his brain is getting wrinklier -- to make way for all that essential brain tissue.
  • He's now strong enough to grasp a finger!
