So blogger has a new layout and I'm not feeling it so I'm gonna post daily on this amazing trip. We knew we wanted to do a big trip this year, and thankfully our awesome friends did as well. After MUCH consideration Cancun it was. We had never done an all inclusive and we wanted something a little americanized. It took us months to decide on a resort but we finally decided on ME Cancun. We dropped Gage off at my parents house late Sunday night. We had to be at the airport at 6am the next morning so we decided it was better that way. I cried, mostly when he said, are you guys leaving forever? Yeah I about called off the trip after those words. Once he got to my parents he got out the puzzles and didn't care one bit about us leaving. It made me feel better knowing how extremely spoiled he was going to be with everyone. We said our long goodbyes and off we went. The next morning was like Christmas, the airport ran smoothly besides some surprise baggage fees. Alisha & Carlos were on different flights then us and they were already long gone. Are flights went pretty fast, and the tvs on the plane made that possible.

We arrived in Cancun and felt the heat immediately. The weather was perfect for us all trip, no clouds, and hot! We got to our resort and was greeted by drinks and A&C! They had been there for a few hours but were still waiting on a room (crappy). We all checked in and went and checked out our rooms for the week. We got upgraded to ocean view rooms, thank goodness cause the view rocked!

The best part of the rooms was the bathroom, the shower was pretty much amazing!

After some room confusion with A&C, we headed off to dinner. At our resort you have to make reservations everyday for your dinner. Well we didn't that day but when we walked up to this restaurant and it looked dead we thought we'd be ok.

After a few weird looks we were able to get in, and it was one of my favorite nights. We were all so excited to be there and the food rocked! We racked up a $300 bill and laughed away! Something about sitting next to the ocean with great food and a pina colada just makes me happy.

We then spent some time laughing, chatting away walking around the beach. Carlos decided to take a midnight swim and I think scared the living daylights out of Tyler. We explored the resort some more then decided to call it a night. It was really a perfect start to our trip!
