Disneyland Pictures Galore

We are back from another way fun Disneyland trip! I just love Disneyland, I would go there twice a year if life would let me. Here is a run down of our trip! We took off super early on Monday morning. 5:30a.m. to be exact. We met my entire famdamily at the airport, everyone but Brandon who had to stay home for work. We came seconds away from missing our flight! Security was crazy and we didn't really plan for enough time. Thankfully we all made it but had to sit apart from each other. Gage was amazing on both flights, we didn't even have to use half of his bribery treats.


Once we arrived we took a bus ride to our hotel, checked in, ate lunch, and headed over to the park. Monday was such a perfect day there, some clouds but mid 70's. We took full advantage and played till everything closed.

Gage and Kimberlee had tons of fun with the characters. They both would get so excited and loved having their autograph book signed.





That night we went to Cheesecake Factory for dinner, everyone was exhausted and quickly crashed that night. Gage slept with me every night and I LOVED it! He is the best snuggler and a great sleeper when he sleeps with someone. Too bad we can't do this at home cause it was the best. Gage is a terrible restaurant child though, anyone else have one of these? I swear he's trying to keep us skinny cause he becomes problem child once we sit down to eat. He hates sitting still so restaurants were our only problem this trip.


The second day it drizzled on us off and on that day. Nothing bad though, we never had to bust out the ponchos like last trip. It was a cool 60 degrees and we played all day till exhaustion again.





Gage napped everyday in his stroller. One minute he would be up and going then the next he was out like a light.


The chipmunks were a favorite for everyone. They spent extra time with each kid and got into a tickling match with Gage. For sure one of my favorite moments of the trip!








California Adventure has this carousel that is super high and it "swings." Well I've never rode it cause the line is super long. Gage wanted to ride it this year so we decided to give it a try. Turns out it's one crazy ride! It gives you the feeling that you will fly off into the water. I closed my eyes throughout most of the ride, and I'm no chicken! Gage loved it, he loved a lot of rides though!




Day 3 we woke up to head to breakfast with the characters. I was a little disappointed in how they rushed us in, rushed us to our table, rushed rushed. Gage ate two pieced of cantaloupe and called it good. ;) It was fun though, and I'm glad Gage got to see more characters.








I ordered all the kids these cute shirts for this trip! They all looked so dang cute!






Day 4 we said goodbye to my family and picked up a rental car. Off we headed to San Diego on a perfect 80 degree day. We pulled into legoland and loved that no one was there! We walked onto every ride and Gage loved it! Legoland is perfect for kids ages 3-10. Any older they would get bored, any younger they couldn't do much. We spent all day there and did everything 1-2 times.















We were so happy we decided to do Legoland, Gage was one happy kiddo. We left there at 5 and headed over to Laguna Beach. I was a huge Laguna Beach MTV show fan so I didn't complain when Tyler mentioned it. ;) The beach we found was amazing, I think my favorite so far. The waves were 15+feet high and the sunset was killer! Gage was all about the sand, kicking it, throwing it, running in it, but wasn't about the water.





We spent a good hour here and then a huge wave came up and got Gage good. He couldn't stop laughing saying, "it got my shorts!'

Day 5 we had perfect weather again as we headed over to Disneyland for another long day. If you ask Gage what his favorite ride was he will say, Peter Pan! We went on this a lot, good thing I love it too!


That day was pretty much a chill day cause we had done everything already. We went to a few shows, got a great spot for the parade, watched the fireworks which made me cry. Gage I think really enjoyed this day and repeated his favorite phase of the trip every second, "I wanna go on another RIDE!"

The next morning we headed to the airport and made it in plenty of time. Gage did great on the flight home as well. We really had the best time together and really enjoyed being on vacation. I'm so thankful we get to do fun stuff like this as a family, life is so good!
