San Diego **Picture Overload**

Wow, this trip was a blast. The weather was perfect, Gage was perfect, and it was exactly what we needed. San Diego is beautiful and such a perfect vacation spot, we already can't wait to go back. Here is our trip, warning many many photos!
Gage started out sleeping right when the plane took off, he slept for about 20 minutes.
Then he was happy as can be. Everyone on the plane loved him and he was the center of attention.
We arrived in San Diego and picked up our car (don't ever rent with advantage) then headed over to our hotel. We stayed at a Holiday Inn and were really impressed. They had the best breakfasts and we just ate there every morning. Our room was really nice and we would stay there again for sure.

We then headed over to The Old Spaghetti Factory at Gaslamp District. Dinner was great and Gage was hilarious.
He was so intrigued by this glass of water.
Thursday morning we slept in and then headed over to the San Diego Zoo. The Zoo is huge and we ended up walking most of it. They have tours and escalators, that just shows how big it is. We went on a perfect day and it wasn't busy at all. I unfortunately packed for 60 degree weather, which it was. The humidity though was high and we were pretty hot!
We loved the Koala's!
Just out walking the cheetahs.
Gage just loved the Zoo Tour.
His Monkey Face!
Petting Zoo
Rated "R" haha!
It is so beautiful and trees are everywhere!
Gage was such a trooper all day here. He took little naps in his stroller but for the most part he was up all day. He never fussed and he would actually watch all the animals. It was so fun and we were really glad we went to the zoo!
After the Zoo we headed over to Mission Beach. We made it just in time for sunset and it was beautiful. There is nothing like a beach sunset, and walking barefoot in the sand.
We then headed over to Chili's and had a great cheap dinner. Gage was pooped and he slept for most of the dinner on me and the booth. It was too cute!
Friday morning we went to La Jolla beach, Can you say Beautiful??? Ohhhh I loved it!
They have a Seal beach with tons of seals. It was fun watching them, I love seals!
We then decided to get in the water, it was pretty cold but we didn't really care. Gage put his feet in and walked out pretty far with dad. I have to say this was my favorite part of the trip. It was relaxing and Gage loved watching the waves and watching the birds!Image and video hosting by TinyPic
We went back to the hotel and washed up and headed over to the pier. We walked around and looked at all the boats. We even almost watched some homeless people fight! haha! That night we went to Old Town. It was perfect weather and dinner at the Old Town Cafe was Delicious. It was a way fun night!
Gage would much rather be out and about then in the hotel room. It was interesting trying to keep him entertained but we made do. He loved the yellow pages.
Rolling around on the beds.
And getting stuck in weird places!
Saturday morning we went to Coronado Island. We sat and hung at the beach and enjoyed our last bit of San Diego!

We think his ears were bothering him because ours were driving us crazy. I feel bad for the people on the plane but there was nothing we could do. Thankfully from Las Vegas to Salt Lake he slept the entire way. One freak out the entire time though I will take. He was an angel and I can't count the number of times we got compliments about him. Everyone loved his hair and his cheeks. He flirted with everyone, everywhere we went. He loves people and has no stranger danger at all!
I'm already sad were home, mostly when we return to a blizzard! San Diego we will miss you!

How fun! La Jolla is a pretty beach huh? There was a wedding going on there when we went.
The hotel reminded me a lot of Luke too lol, trying to keep him busy in there!
