The Weekend

Is it just me or do weekends just fly by? Actually everyday has been flying by pretty fast lately which is weird! Friday night we went to a Grizzly Game with Tyler's dad Sean and Stacey and that was a lot of fun. There wasn't a lot of good fights which was a bummer but the one they did have was a goody. Friday I also experienced my new favorite hair product of all time, Biosilk. You put it on before hair drying or styling and your hair is so shiny and smooth!! I'm in love, now I'm counting down the days till next Tuesday for Vanessa to trim my hair and color it because it really needs it!
Saturday we woke up to a 52 degree house, it was freezing! Our heater had decided to go out on us and Tyler didn't know what to do. We also were rushing because we had a labor and delivery class that morning. Thankfully my dad came over while we were out and fixed it. Thanks dad #1. The L&D Class was nice, it was really nice seeing all the pregnant women and how each acted. It made me feel at peace :) haha It was nice hearing them all talk about weight gain and aches and pains, I'm sure Tyler loved it as well. We pretty much knew what was taught in class but we enjoyed the hospital tour. For everyone that has informed me that Jordan Valley is dirty and small, I can now firmly disagree. I'm very happy to be delivering there! I have two new thoughts coming out from our L&D Class, I am deadly scared of a c-section. I will push my liver and lungs out before I agree to one :) I know realistically I don't really have a choice. Two, I'm not scared of the epidural anymore. For those who have heard me talking about the Natural thing you know I have considered going Natural because I'm deathly afraid of a Epi. Well they showed us the needle at the class and showed us how it went in and all that stuff and I'm not afraid anymore. It wasn't as big as I thought, so yay for that, Epi here I come!
Saturday night I went out with some of my girl friends that I haven't seen in quite some time. It was a really fun night that consisted of Olive Garden, and girl talk, my favorite! It was funny because they asked to see my belly (a first from anyone) I'm not too ashamed of my belly yet because the stretch mark fairy has yet to bless me. When I showed them they all put their hands on to feel for him and he immediately started kicking! I loved watching all their faces, they couldn't be happier for me! Love you Girls!! When I got home I told Tyler about Gage kicking for the ladies and he was all proud because his son was going to be a ladies man :)
Sunday we slept till 11:00 , this is big for us lately! We woke up to a broken heater again, and my dad came back out and fixed it AGAIN! Thanks Dad #2. Luckily its still working today and a heater tech will be out today to look at it. I spent the day cleaning and realizing how much work really does need to be done before the little one arrives! That was our weekend, short and sweet! Hope everyone had a great one as well.

I delivered at Jordan Valley too! And I seriously had the best experience!! So you're right not to listen to all those people who say it's no good there. The delivery room was HUGE, and so nice! And the recovery room was very nice as well. And my nurses-- I had like 5 or 6 the whole time I was there, (with their shift changes) and every single one was SO HELPFUL and nice! Only one of them I was sort of uncomfortable with. So we had a GREAT experience having our baby there! And I think that's saying something, because I didn't think having a baby would ever be a great experience, if you know what I mean. Who's your doctor? Mine's Kathleen Langer and she's amazing! I guess this comment is long enough now so I'll shut up!
